Parlour Candy is a traditional Hungarian Christmas-candy, which was originally used as the decoration of Christmas trees. Nowadays, it is also a present and a Christmas dessert, so recently, the taste and package design became more and more relevant for the manufacturers.

That is why Bonbonetti made the Nosztalgia Szaloncukor family, a premium vintage parlour candy family, with high cocoa percentage, real chocolate and premium fillings. After they had a premium product, they wanted an elegant vintage-styled package design. In this challenge, our agency had to make the whole design, from the size and the shape of the box, until the wrapping foils of the candies. The mood of the package design was inspired by the elegant dessert boxes of the late 1880s and the early 1900s. We made a new traditional heraldry for the product family, instead of the clean lined red Bonbonetti logo. The bottom colors of the box are changing with the taste variations and the wrapping foils, which are also visible, thanks to the window cuttings. In the middle of the box, we used clean lined taste illustrations, with white background, which also intensifies the premium feeling of the product.
