The Folio Society has been publishing “beautifully crafted, imaginative editions of the world’s greatest works of fiction and non-fiction” for over 70 years. For this reason, they wanted to create a membership package that looked just as beautiful as the timeless stories they print.

London based packaging consultancy, Project Packaging, helped them to manufacture this custom packaging box for new and existing members to house their membership details – or even precious books.

The packaging itself has been assembled from a 700 micron polypropylene material, known for its durability. The polypropylene sheet has then been die cut along the folds for easy assemblage and glued, allowing for the Folio Society to quickly fill the boxes and send them out.

They chose a strong pantone red colour to print throughout, echoing the red traditionally used for classic hardback book cases. The text “beautiful books” was then knocked out of the colour.

The Unique Points Of The Packaging: Project Packaging used 700 micron polypropylene, die cut for easy assemblage.
