This self-initiated brief required me to redesign the packaging for J20’s Apple and Mango and Orange and Passion Fruit flavours in order to look more modern. It was required that the new packaging should fit well in bar situations and should bring through J2O’s expressive, unpretentious and playful personality. It should also ensure that consumers know that it is a blend of two fruits. I decided to focus on aiming the drink at young adults between 18 and 29 who spend time in bars and appreciate modern designs. The design combines complexity and simplicity as I wanted to convey the idea of juice in a more interesting and abstract way whilst also clearly showing the blend of the two flavours through the eye catching choice of colours.
