This wine is born under the concepts of Origin and History with the aim of showing the roots of the Chilean wine.

In the 60s, the grape variety “País” resulted in very rustic wines without greater complexity. Later, to soften that rustic variety called “País”, it was blended with Malbec, which produced a mild sensation in the mouth called “aterciopelado”, which was much appreciated and that is the reason for its name: ATERCIOPELADO, which means VELVETY in Spanish.

Creativity and innovation are the features of this wine. Therefore, the label design respects this transgressive style but, at the same time, it respects the history by means of a unique old element, which results the focus of the label, a ruby red quilted sofa with a freehand drawing classic style. In the upper part, there are three paintings that include the label information. The fantasy typography of the brand grants it a smooth and silky sensation.

This label got its inspiration from an analogy between the name of the wine and a simple but forceful element.
