This package was born as a part of a project called “USIO design project” to re-focus on culture and life in Ishigaki-island (a small island located at the south of Okinawa, Japan). I designed this package, especially the logo-part, with a hope to draw worldwide attention at beautiful nature, unique culture, and charming people reside on the island of Ishigaki. The “USIO” project continues to introduce Ishigaki to the world by re-designing packages of local product to express the attractiveness of Ishigaki.
