The project was in collaboration with Grand Hyatt Melbourne to come up with amenities that could provide the guests with a better quality of sleep. The Grand Hyatt team was in search of something different as well as innovative while promoting locality.

The products had to blend well in the room and there were some considerations to take into account in designing the labels and the packaging. It had to appeal to both male and female, the guests’ backgrounds (their staying purpose and nationality), and the luxurious vibe of the hotel.

What’s Unique?
The items were kept as practical, simple, and effortless as possible while maintaining the sophistication element of the hotel. It was chosen under the idea that best supported the brief. These were oil roll-on, facial mist, with lavender as the main ingredient, and silk sleeping blindfold. The ingredients had proven to effectively induced sleep and relaxation upon usage.

These were meant to be the last thing the guests interacted with before going to bed. Considering the guests’ condition, the box was designed and constructed to effortlessly opened up with one hand.
