This is the packaging and branding for a fictional tea company named Tea for Two. Each tin contains enough servings for two people, twice a day for two weeks. This was designed as a student project at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, where I studied as part of an exchange programme with Central Saint Martins, London. Being British, and therefore an avid tea drinker, I intended for my design to be simple and clean to evoke the same calmness and tranquility as the English ritual of making a pot of tea. I wanted the design to be a beautiful object that could also look good sitting on the kitchen shelf.

What’s Unique?
Although tea is still Britain’s beverage of choice, traditional tea drinking is in decline today amongst young people. Tea packaging is often very traditional, and I have created tea packaging with a more modern approach to appeal to the modern market, that I believe would stand out on the supermarket shelf.
