Unilever’s in-house creative agency ucreative was tasked with designing a full suite of salad dressing and vinaigrette labels for their Hellmanns brand.

The brief was to create a modern, premium range of ingredient-led labels.

ucreative starting points were Hellmann’s history – born in a New York deli – and that Hellmann’s speak to their customers as you would want to be spoken to in your local deli: open, uncomplicated and always smiling. It was these cues that brought to life the honest, natural, hand-crafted look. The labels feature the organic colours of fresh vegetables, fruits and the product ingredients.

The entire seven label project from Initial concept designs to final artwork was achieved in just 16 days.
