This packaging is for a personal line of necklaces, made from blue and pink plexiglass, that I hope to sell one day. As plastic bags are both harmful to the environment and an undesirable addition to our food chain I wanted to create a packaging solution that would make a plastic bag physically unnecessary and emotionally less desirable. The design uses recycled paper to turn necklaces into cute little handbags, using the metal chain of the necklace itself to be carried.

What’s Unique?
This packaging is light, strong, free-standing, can be hung or carried, requires no glue, ships flat, tessellates with little waste and can be made from recycled materials.
