TATANKA is a Brazilian Münich Lager handcrafted beer, named after a holy native American man who led the Hunkpapa Lakot people during the years of resistance to United States government policie. He was killed by Indian agency police on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation during an attempt to arrest him.

Once the brand had this strong reference the concept was to work with an old west aesthetic, but focusing on natives elements like feathers, skulls and sand, connecting the packaging to the environment native people used to live and to help to bring a little bit of their culture and costumes to the label in a respectful way.

What’s Unique?
The label uses the combination of silkscreen and digital printing to give to the mass production process a more handcrafted look, bringing it back to the way the beer is also handcrafted.
