A packaging project for earphones that is new, young and different from what already exists in the market currently. Through our research, we realised what problems consumers faced with the packaging. From our insights we tried to design something that would be more than just a packaging for the product but also something that remained with its owner even after unboxing.

Packaging is something that has an immediate effect on consumers. It is the first step to attracting buyers. Our design strives to stand out from competition that exists, by being different in structure as well as the loud and quirky graphic elements. The design keeps up with the current trend of patterns and bright colours which maintains its relevance today.

The purpose of this packaging was to ensure that the packaging material is not just thrown away but has use even after. The graphics on the box are easily relatable and stand out among the otherwise regular packaging of earphones. The two versions are a good contrast from each other and would appeal to all kinds of youngsters.

What's Unique?
The uniqueness of our idea is not only the box but also the leather patch within. This patch can be folded and used to keep your earphones safe from tearing, tangling and getting dirty. It is also easy to carry around and classy. The patch fits snugly in the mould and can therefore be carried with or without the box. Another feature is the sliding lid which breaks away from the usual opening mechanism of a box.
