Black Cellar had been an existing brand for many years, and needed a rebrand to keep pace with competitors in a crowded category. The challenge was to communicate ‘craftsmanship’ while looking premium. The bold and dark new design allows for mysterious narratives surrounding the ‘cellar’ – where its winemakers work to create unique, numbered blends. A central element in the new design is a key, which further ties into the story of the ‘Black Cellar’ being a place, as well as a brand.

What’s Unique?
A sharp, gothic-inspired logo, with a large red key that is a central element of the new brand.
