Known for always giving both barrels, creative recruitment agency, Craft, are spreading Christmas cheer with their very own ‘craft’ beer.

Proud to serve the north of England’s creative industry, Leeds-based Craft help people build fulfilling careers and help keep the north’s creative industry fully stocked with talent. Theirs is a ‘people over process’ ethos with a carefully crafted approach to recruitment. No cookie-cutter processes. No quick fixes. Craft have an instinct for successful matches based on strengths and character rather than just a CV.

Craft also love to celebrate. So for Christmas, they’re handing out their very own branded beer to friends, clients and candidates. The beer will also be gifted throughout the year to celebrate wins. Made in collaboration with local brewery, Northern Monk, the beer is described as a ‘hoppy session IPA’ and ‘as friendly and refreshing as Craft themselves’. Gloriously bright and colourful, the cans come in eye-catching pink, teal and mustard and show off Craft’s distinctive brand identity in full festive splendour.

As well as toasting good times, the design and the beer nod to the importance of the individual in the recruitment journey, with a variety of bold brand shapes printed with a raised varnish film, adding an indulgent and celebratory texture in your hand.

Leeds-based independent brewery, Northern Monk, are known for their creativity and collaborative approach, and were Craft’s first choice of brewery. Billy Marshall at Northern Monk said, “We really enjoy working with local creatives and likeminded people who share our vision of craftsmanship and quality, and our appreciation of great design. Craft were the perfect partner!”

Designer Ollie Langridge said, “The guys at Craft are clearly committed to breaking the mould of what a creative recruitment business should be. With a project like this, it feels like they’re putting their money where their mouth is.”

Dan Crowder, Craft’s Founder added, “2017 has been an important year for us and to say ‘thanks’ to our fantastic clients and candidates, we had the idea for a beer. It’s not just for Christmas though. We’ll also hand the beer out to celebrate helping someone find that ideal job – marking that joyful moment which too often gets overlooked. This project was a great excuse to collaborate with our favourite brewery, work with Ollie again, and test lots of beer in the process. Cheers!”

What’s Unique?
A recruitment company collaborating with a brewery to celebrate all things design, beer and Christmas. Quite unexpected…
