Menstruation is not just about women, it is about everyone around us. It is just another hygiene product and not something we should hide from.

After analyzing the problems with existing packaging, I have come up with a design that solves most of the problems. The user can easily store the product in the cupboard; user does not have to think about disposing the soiled napkin as this comes with a disposing sheet; it also has a poster explaining menstruation for users whose families do not talk to their daughters about the entire cycle.

I have used paper as my primary material. Origami has been used to maximize the use of it. The same pocket which stores the pad is used opened and used as a disposing sheet.

I hope to deliver an experience to the user which lets her not be uncomfortable and also not have unnecessary stress during her weak days.

What’s Unique?
The solution to dispose the sanitary napkin makes the product unique. This not only helps the woman as a primary user but also helps the waste collecting workers. The packaging also comes with a poster explaining menstruation cycle, it is necessary in a country like India where families are not open about Menstruation and children do not have any idea what undergoes with their bodies.
