Design of the successful Cup Cans line of Atún Dolores, the first of its kind in Mexico, with a decorative concept that pleased the target audience, who even gave the can a second use.
“DOLORES” is a traditional brand, with 100 years in the market, and what was sought was to achieve an innovative design that would reach a younger and more contemporary audience, without losing the essence of the Classic brand. The design marked a trend in the category of cans of tuna in Mexico, and was later copied by the competing brands.
It has been one of the iconic projects of Tailor.

What’s Unique?
The practicality of the can with plastic lid and spoon to carry and eat at any time, without needing to drain the contents. The ladies even keep the cans after eating them, for (for example) keeping buttons and small objects, and the gentlemen have used them to store screws or as containers for painting. People have accepted this package very well as the ideal product to take to the University, the office or to have a little food during a bus trip or field trip. Also the ladies have said that “it looks great in the kitchen”.
