This new project from our studio is the first of a label series for this wine producer and also the first one from this brand.

In fact, Vendaval (gale, in English) is the chosen name for this wine because the property, situated in the high Douro region, Portugal, is a place where winds are all over, and stronger winds, in Portuguese we say Vendaval (gale), is a constant scene in the property. That was the main idea for the label.. give a strong feeling of winds.. north winds! A wind that crosses time, regions, people.

And for this first release, we decided to use a classic way of transport, air balloon used nowadays for leisure but a piece of our history…and this is the story of this wine, a story that has started and we don’t know where it will arrive… Vendaval (gale) will take it far, far away from here.

What’s Unique?
For printing, we decided to use Tintoretto Gesso paper and hot foiled gold. Tintoretto Gesso paper because it can resist the hot foiled lines (without foil) to create the windy sensation on background
