The current Covid-19 is making us realize the importance of personal hygiene and care. One particular area where the lines between hygienic and unhygienic get blurred are public washrooms. Presenting, “Saathi-your travel care companion”. A range that has been specifically conceptualized to fulfill all personal sanitization needs of a modern middle class woman.

Speaking of the Indian brand Himalaya, its a brand which has its roots firmly set in Ayurveda and everything natural. They believe in providing “happiness through wellness”. Its a trusted household name which keeps problem-solving and experimentation at the forefront of its brand identity.

“Saathi” is Himalaya’s proposed step into its 91st year of innovation by mixing modern aesthetic trends to their products.

The graphics have been inspired by ‘travel scenery’. A bold color scheme has been adopted to create drama and be eye catching. The color scheme also aims to break the stereotype of women only being attracted to soft pastel colors.

The secondary packaging is in the form of a “Jute Potli Pouch”. It has a structured round base but a free flowing body with a cotton lining inside preventing any direct harm to the material. A jute potli has been chosen to draw attention to Himalaya’s deep belief in Ayurveda and also create a strong emotional connection between the potli, brand and the consumer.
