Samarkand is a cosmetic company. Samarkand is a city in Uzbekistan known for its mosques and mausoleums. It’s on the Silk Road, the ancient trade route linking China to the Mediterranean. so we tried to mix between culture and cosmetics to develop a new brand identity, packaging design for their skincare product.

Our cosmeceutical skincare range contains high levels of clinically proven active ingredients supported by a simple yet sophisticated skin health philosophy.

Our objective was to create an inclusive identity that felt deep routed with traditional values to ensure patients feel safe and in trusted hands. This was achieved by developing a custom logo mark inspired by extended sans serif typography and complimented with heritage mark.

What’s Unique?
Whole visual language was inspired by the Samarkand city, minimalism, and a feminine colors. combination of these fields create modern but at the same time elegant look. that bring an authoritative voice to the brand.
