In a project called GARUFA involving sparkling wines, ARENA-BAHAMONDE designed 2 labels. The instructions were to avoid formal and repeated concepts normally used for the design of sparkling wines and to make fun and novel labels in order to attract the attention of consumers in non-traditional sales channels. Our illustrations are aimed at emphasizing night and celebration, music and glow, and the concept was completed by means of the name GARUFA, a term that was borrowed from the lunfardo jargon, the meaning of which is a man who is fond of fun and party.
