Single malt bottling specialists Hunter Laing asked us to create a contemporary brand for their latest addition to their range, Distiller’s Art. The Distiller’s Art range exports specially selected range of malts to multiple markets, throughout the world.

The branding for the label combines traditional and bold typography with a modern ‘whisky still’ icon to create a strong modern look. This is contrasts with the bespoke ‘whisky still’ woodcut style illustration showing through the whisky from the reverse of the bottle, this was commission exclusively for the project.

The paper distillery label is uses understated typography to pick out the key features of the individual whiskies, like the age, bottling date and bottle numbering. The subtle monochrome colour palette of the bottle tube packaging combined with foil details help create a regal and elegant finished pack.

What’s Unique?
Bespoke woodcut style ‘whisky still’ illustration. Foil detailing on bottle label.
