Mashup Chocolate, manufactured by Rock Candy, is inspired by musical mashup groups that bring individual songs together into singular compositions. Each chocolate bar features four different varieties and visually exemplifies the melding of individual units into a unified whole.

What’s Unique?
The challenge of this project was to create a series of candy bar packages inspired by three distinct musical groups integrated under a common theme and brand. My packaging features the artists: Girl Talk, The Hood Internet, and Super Mash Bros. The interior of each package holds four separately wrapped bars reflecting the individual colors that assemble the external artwork.

The illustrations were created using analog marbling techniques, and were then edited digitally. The incorporation of the pearlescent paper creates an additional layer of interest and sheen, attracting viewers to pick up and engage personally with the product.
