Alderson’s is a boutique hot sauce company with a focus on making delicious, uniquely flavoursome and memorable condiments. 100% New Zealand made and handcrafted, using the freshest local ingredients and grown produce.

We were asked to create illustrated packaging for the new Alderson’s product: Morepork BBQ. We developed a unique and memorable name and brand story with a New Zealand touch. Cleaver visual cues were used to highlight the points of difference and provide a fun but informative labeling piece.

Brand romance:
“Often heard in the forest at dusk and throughout the night, the Morepork is known for its haunting, melancholic call to seek a mate. Like the Morepork, no cut of barbecued meat should be left unaccompanied – day or night.”
