“Dimaag Ki Batti Jalaa De” is an Indian tagline used for Mentos, in Hindi, which helped come up with the idea for LumiJoy. The line implies “Make one’s mind light up”, and we took that concept literally into the product that we created. Therefore, apart from storing mints, LumiJoy has a provision of a light source which activates upon opening the lid. This gives the product a life even after the mints are over.

LumiJoy is opened through a semi-hemispherical lid which slides upwards. The back of the lid comes in contact with a switch upon opening, that activates the light. The Mentos can be accessed by opening the slider on the disc in the middle.

What’s Unique?
The idea of incorporating a light source in a mint packaging seemed like a novel combination. Keeping the tagline of Mentos in mind, it literally is a play of words when the product is opened and actually lights up(as if the Mentos is actually telling you it will give you access to infinite wisdom)
