The project developed for the Azienda Agricola D’Alessandro received numerous awards at the 2016 edition of Vinitaly in the International Packaging Competition: the “Etichetta d’Argento” for the Pecorino in the still white wine category; the “Etichetta d’Oro” for the Cerasuolo in the still rosé wine category; the “Etichetta d’Argento” for the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo in the still red wine category; the company also received the special prize “Premio Speciale Packaging: Immagine Coordinata” for the wine category.

The story we decided to tell, through this new oenological project, starts from the history of the D’Alessandro family, with a noble ancestor who used to be a horse breeder. In the past, a horse was a tangible value, a means of transport, but also a symbol of both strength and elegance. The typographic technique and the grace, that we put into the packaging, are rendered by the absolute sobriety of the labels, where the peculiarity – the horse – has been freed and now gallops from a bottle to an other, outlining a symbolic path of the D’Alessandro family’s history.
