Planète Chocolat is an exclusive chocolatier in the heart of Brussels. The handmade chocolate is based on home-made recipes, while the pralines are representing worldwide flavors. Geometric patterns sublime the unique creations made by master chocolate makers. DesignRepublic was contacted to create new boxes for Planète Chocolat’s repositioning on the online market. A thrilling addition to the previous campaigns and the new task was embraced at a glance.

DesignRepublic aimed to combine the design of the boxes with the architectural heritage of Brussels: Art Deco. The city is sparked with the definition of Art Deco of streamlined and geometric shapes. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart is one landmark embodying the post-World War I aesthetic of Art Deco. The shapes are incorporated on the boxes’ surface next to a golden framed logo of Planète Chocolat to underline the chocolatier’s heritage. The rectangular box is designed to store multiple floors of chocolate to enable optimal worldwide delivery of artisan chocolate.
