O Curtas Vila do Conde is an international lm festival established in 1993. It is one of the leading lm and cultural events in Portugal dedicated to short lms. It takes place annually in July in the city of Vila do Conde. In 2012, the festival celebrated its 20th Edition. Since 1993 the festival has consolidated its position as a disseminator of the latest trends in contemporary cinema also gained a prominent place on the European scene of international lm festivals. The main focus of the festival are short lms but gradually progressed to a multi-disciplinary festival around moving images.

My goal when creating the package in this format was to allow grab the bottle by its neck. Therefore, I created a recess so that the gagalo left. I used cork and wood as it is a material present in the bottles of wine. Cork has a base in low relief to the bottle settle down.

With regard to the label, the word PORTO, is with the typography of the cellars of Porto wine, and wanted to create a certain harmony between the arabesques and typography. For the words Short 2015 inserias in lmstrip, and down the arabesques, a lock to once again point out the wine. This bunch is made present at the top of the bottle.
