Great-Grandma Thelma grew up in Monroe, Iowa, and was famous for her snicker doodle cookies. In honor of her 108th birthday in 2012, the Lewis family launched Thelma’s-delivering warm cookies to businesses and selling ice cream cookie sandwiches at events.

The foremen at Saturday Mfg. helped create the branding from scratch. From the iconic logo and “Thelma’s words of wisdom” to the sales cart and the delivery box, each bite of Thelma’s brand is joy unto itself.

The Thelma’s cart is already a popular destination at the Downtown Des Moines Farmers’ Market and other local events. And the signature oven box-not to mention the delicious warm cookies inside-have people talking. That is, once they’ve finished their sweet treats.
