The gourmet revolution for foodies

Masquespacio launches Urbanbites, their last branding and web design project designed for the Spanish brand of subscription boxes for the most urbans, looking for a gastronomic revolution.

The project commissioned by Urbanbites’ founders Daniel Mondelo and María Astorga, starts with the initial naming originated by the Spanish brands’ creators. Additionally, the claim “Feed your mood” was developed in collaboration with Masquespacio. The branding and web design on the other hand was based on the brands’ values, that are closely connected with the potential customers’ needs and tastes from the Spanish brand specialized in gourmet subscription boxes. Thus the project seeks to find the balance between the craftsmanship from Urbanbites’ products and the innovative label from a new kind of gourmet with new flavours, textures and a ‘vintage contemporary’ image, seducing for the most urban people.

That way several ‘handmade’ elements are enlightened through the design like for the typography and coloured patterns realized with acrylic paint. Above a set of old pictures were used, showing daily life cooking and eating scenes typical for Spanish culture.

A union of elements traduced in a brand image that both for the web design as well as for the brand applications shows a reinvented ‘vintage’ identity, with the aim to attract the most urban foodies in search of the new gourmet revolution.
