Astral is a packaging design piece for scents that are inspired by each sign of the Zodiac. The association for each scent is very specific, and is inspired by known features of the signs, such as what kind of element they are (air, water, fire or earth), their personality traits, etc. A miniature french fold, stab bound book sits alongside the calendar of scents and contains further information about each of the Zodiac signs, so even to those not in the know about the Zodiac, it is easy to be informed about why each scent was selected. Each vial of perfume sits within its designated section in the Zodiac calendar wooden base which was created using laser cutting and wood carving techniques.

What’s Unique?
The approach to Astral is unique in that it combines a variety of methods and treatments. From digital design to hand done graphic elements, laser cutting to wood carving and book binding to packaging, Astral encompasses many treatments and approaches to achieve the end product.
