Based on traditional German culture, Fluss Haus – southern Brazil cookies factory – produces these delicacies totally handmade.

Painted and decorated by hand, rather than taste, the cookies receive the souvenir status. In view of this symbolic value, FAZdesign developed a unique packaging to accommodate this product.

Besides taking into account the issue of cookies security and integrity – protected by structured box with individual niches – the package aimed to expose and enhance the look of the product. Thus, through a window with a special cutting, packaging becomes the frame for Fluss Haus cookies.

The handcrafted look of products has inspired the layout. The lace texture, cursive and irregular typography, raw colors and the packaging substrate – the craft paper – contribute to the perception of homemade product. Moreover, the package has a playful language, a joke is revealed as the cookies are consumed.

In this way, the package extends the value of the product, highlighting the potential of the product as an option for gifting.
