A Rare Wild Ale with Unclear Intentions, Yet Spectacular Results

Riding like tiny cowboys on the wild winds of the Central Coast, Libertine’s native yeasts blow through and settle in for the night to give their wild ales just the right amount of sour. Yes, they know it’s sour. Inspired by psychedelic album artwork of the 60’s and a reflection of their renegade spirit, the new packaging is all business in the front, party in the back: the front hollering “SUIT UP!”, while the back is an underground dance bonanza with a password of “CODSWALLOP” required upon entry. Hot on the heels of their new expansion to San Luis Obispo, we worked closely with the Libertine team to redesign their labels and logo marks while keeping the integrity of the brewery’s vision.
