American Apparel is a recognizable and affordable fashion empire that gives you garments with a classic cut. With its pop-sleaze aesthetic, the company revolves around the idea of being edgy and bold. This project imagines American Apparel breaking into the market of skin care.

To honor the aesthetic of the company, a typographic solution was created for the new line that was named Ace. Keeping in line with their current aesthetic of classic cuts I decided to source bottles of a simple yet elegant round shape. To provide the slightly traditional bottles with some attitude, the caps accompanying the bottles were given a vibrant color palette that also would function as product differentiators. To launch this new line of products the creation of an in-store promotional display became of high importance. The solution came in the form of a transparent acrylic pegboard that would house the products as well as inform store visitors of the new product line.
