Medolino is a type of children’s food that is suitable for children from 12 months of age.

The idea behind the packaging was to make the child’s first experience of eating healthy food a good one.

This was achieved by making the packaging interactive by turning it into a toy.

The main ingredient of Medolino is honey so the packaging was turned into a bee character. Parts of the character’s body such as wings, sting and tentacles were drawn on the sides of the packaging and outlined with a dotted line which suggested that they should be cut out.

Once they are cut out, all it takes to turn the packaging into an actual character is sticking them out.

The paper box then turns into a friendly character the child can play with while being fed.

What’s Unique?
The packaging is interactive. The plain paper box gets a new, unique shape and function. The packaging is a bee character.
