The project was to design packaging for a fictional brand, as well as develop a brand identity, advertisements, etc.

Eleo is a subscription glasses service where customers can pay a yearly fee and swap frames as frequently as they wish…customers can have as many frames as they want, for as long as they want. This particular package is the starter package. Within it, customers receive a smaller box that contains their glasses, a bottle of lens cleaning solution, a lens wipe cloth, and a small welcome card, telling more information about the company and options for buying.

The customer uses the smaller box inside to return ship their glasses once they are finished with them. Shipping labels and fees are already taken care of to make the experience as simple as possible for the consumer.

What’s Unique?
The packaging is an experience to open. When a customer receives the box in the mail, they will expect something bold to go along with their bold new glasses, however what they actually get is a clean, simple white box. At this point, the excitement is rising, what is going to be inside? Why is the box so plain? Finally the customer opens the box up and an explosion of bold and bright patterns appears, it’s a party inside to go along with their fun new glasses. And a fun pun: Spectacular! (Spec)tacular. Specs. get it? Spectacles? How fun.
