Black Bear Soda is a local craft soda made in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. They have been around for years but have only sold locally. They were in need of a major re design with their logo and packaging. Their logo was just clip art of a baby black bear and it was very outdated. The packaging was the same color as the soda so the wrapper and the contents clashed which made it very unappealing to look at it. I created a geometric bear design paired with a geometric type face. Its a minimal design but its more effective and would catch a potential consumer’s eye. I switched to a glass bottle because it makes the product look like its high quality compared to soda that’s in a plastic bottle. It is a very clean design with the Black Bear logo, and the flavor on the front and then nutritional facts on the back.

What’s Unique?
Unlike other bottled sodas my design is flipped on its side but this does not take away from readability. I feel like this could catch the attention of a potential customer because it is different.
