Q&A Studio has designed the packaging for two new premium colas for Gusto Organic. The two drinks are Gusto Organic Real Cola and Gusto Naturally Slim Cola. Both colas are Fairtrade certified and are made with a blend of organic spices and essential oils, cola nut from Africa, Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar and organic blue agave from Mexico.

What’s Unique?
Q&A Studio worked alongside Gusto founder Craig Sams and managing director William Fugard to identify the essence of the brand – ‘bursting with botanicals’. We then used this as a springoard for the creative work.

The labels are filled with a swirling hand drawn illustration that grows around the branding and key ingredients and hints at the refreshing flavours and depth of taste of the drinks. Colours are kept simple: black and white main labels help to pull the two drinks apart and the neck labels are brightly coloured to highlight the quality ingredients. The labels are printed on an uncoated stock traditionally used for Champagne labels to add to the premium, craft positioning of the brand.

Plans are already under way to launch another cola variety and two new citrus drinks in December.
