It is a work of recovery of the famous Liquor Pax, whose secret formula, with 500 years of history, keeps to the present day the monks of the Real Monasterio de Samos. Care has been taken to the smallest detail in the development of this project, starting from the recovery of the illustration of the monastery already present in the old label of this Liquor.

The choice of materials has been an important point in the selection of glasses as well as in the labeling. Quality and elegance is the result for this Historic liqueur.

The history
Medieval monasteries were the scene of many experiments, searching natural remedies with the only purpose of curing, with medicinal applications. In this way, elixir appeared, and for making it more tasty, was aromatized with herbs, flowers and fruits, giving rise to the monastic liquors. Among these liquors, we may highlight the Bénëdictine, from the French abbey Fécamp, which formula arrived to the Monasterio de Samos, after the expulsion of the religious people in France at the begining of the 20th century, giving rise to the Pax Liquor at the begining of the thirties.

After the fire of Monasterio de Samos in 1951, its manufacture was interrupted until 1960, when a new destillery was built, and it was working until 1996. Now the new Pax Liquor is reborn, with Gran Despensa, recovering its centenarian history.
