Importations Édika is a specialist coffee distributor, supplying Montrealers with ultra-high end one-touch and manual coffee machines from Europe. Having already developped a strong relationship with Montreal coffee roasters to create special espresso blends that responded well to their machines, it was time to impart the same refined European sensibilites to their coffee packaging, without losing the local soul of the brand.

Tam-TamTBWA worked closely with both the Montreal coffee roasters and the client in order to reposition the brand and elevate its status to luxury item. The new packaging balances this unique duality of refined elegance and micro-roast personality.

Through their collection of coffees, Touché pays homage not only to the history of Montreal, but also its unique story. Each blend was named for a historic year that that reflects and highlights each flavour’s intensity.

What’s Unique?
Digital printing allowed us to handle micro-batch volume with large scale printing quality. Metallic stock was used in order to acheive a foil printed look at minimal cost, and to make it stand out compared to other local micro-roast products on store shelves.
