This packaging design was done as a graduation project under Papercats Creative Solutions, Bengaluru. The team consisted of product designers, graphic designers and print specialists.

The packaging was done for chocolates during the festive season of Diwali. The target audience was mainly corporates and business partners of the client.

The contents of the box was chocolates, a hardisk and a greeting card. The aim was to create an interesting packaging structure as well as a minimal and premium visual treatment.

The graphics take inspiration from the classic earthen lamps lit during the festival of Diwali. Special inks and screen printing were used to enhance the look and feel of the box. Since the purpose of the packaging was gifting, the color palette of golds and brown were used to achieve a unique, selected and personalized look.

What’s Unique?
The structure of the box is very interactive and consists of multiple layers, each with a different graphic. The idea of not using bright and vivd hues but rather neutral colours makes the box unique from the rest of the packaging seen during Diwali.
