“Qimerioni” – Wine, as a part of artspace! – One of the projects of Georgian Brand Strategic Agency “branding.ge”.

Based on the brand name, the inspiration of the packaging concept became the artistic café “Qimerioni” founded in 1919 by the initiative of “Tsisperkantsts” (Georgian symbolist poets and prosaists union dominated in Georgian literature in the 1920s) in Tbilisi, Georgia.

On mural decorations of the Café worked famous artists such as Lado Gudiashvili, David Kakabadze, Kirile Zdanevich, Mose Toidze, Sergei Sudeikin and others. “Qimerioni” was the place where the city’s most progressive intellectuals gathered and which portrayed the true cultural space and multiculturalism of Tbilisi during that period.

Wine packaging presents Bohemian environment of the artistic café “Qimerioni”, the nature of the epoch, modern culture and art of Tbilisi.

The main idea of packaging was to present the wine as part of Georgian culture, creativity and art.

“Perhaps in the entire world there exists no café, which has witnessed so much inspiration and creativity as Qimerioni.” – Titsian Tabidze (Georgian symbolist poet, writer and one of the founders of “Tsisperkantsts” movement).
