For my Graphic Design II repackaging project, I decided to repackage an album that has influenced me, which is “Youngish American” by Dams of the West, aka Chris Tomson. Using minimal line-work, I decided to expand the personality of Tomson through his lyricism and humor by making symbols for each of the songs in the track listing and other lyrical details. Lyrics and linear notes are supplied through the inner gatefold, pixelated images of Montana on each record sleeve, track listing on the record labels and back, and the symbols on the front album cover. A download card is included, of course.
