SouWester barrel aged gin is produced using locally foraged botanicals. The flavour is an exciting mix of western Australian native species captured in a beautiful gin that has a delicate yellow appearance from barrel ageing.

The SouWester story is very unique, named after the afternoon wind that blows in Western Australia the idea was to capture the provenance of the local region of Margaret River and the distillers unique coastal home.

This was a design that needed authenticity and be true to the nature of the region. The result is a beautiful label in a colour palette inspired by the land and the sea featuring illustrations that celebrate the local ingredients and flavours. As this was a small batch gin each of the bottles were hand numbered adding to the craft feel of the design, touches like the seal graphic that communicated barrel ageing help to engage and tell the product story and premium difference with modern silver elements and branding brought the whole design to life.

What’s Unique?
The packaging design authentically communicates the provenance of the Gin and it’s botanicals and reflects the unique limited batch hand-craft feel of the spirit.
