In a small mining town in the south of Sardinia, Iglesias, the surname Cossu was already in the ’40s synonymous with a good coffee. It is precisely here, in fact, that our story begins, in the renowned café “Nino Cossu”. The son Luigi learns from Nino the art of coffee that intrigues him so much that he takes him to Trieste to perfect himself, attending courses of tasting and roasting at the Italian Coffee Academy. So, more than twenty years ago, Luigi, gives life to an artisan roasting, managing to set the high quality standard that characterizes our recipe, created with the best raw coffee in the world. Since then, much has been done and the small roasting machine has become a cutting-edge plant able to bring our coffee to excellent levels, winning many admirers.
