Qaya is a new coffee brand. The word comes from old Arabic Cahia – the name of coffee drink. Together with artist Yuri Kabisher we created brand identity – logo, colour palette, moodboard, package, set of icons, stationary, posters. Shades of red were chosen as primary colours representing dynamics, strong taste and energizing effect of coffee. Furthermore, red is very attractive. Gray is a calm, neutral, serious and lite additional colour. I tried to create a bold and confident impactful look of modern coffee house and coffee package.

What’s Unique?
Strong red colours, shape of the logo, active diagonal line dividing the materials and bold sans serif fonts create an impactful look that reminds Soviet Posters of the XX century. But the idea behind this design together with set of icons and playful posters with coffee lightsome quotes makes this identity vivid and friendly. So the mix of contrasting methods makes the package outstanding.
