The packaging concept is based on the theme of full moon gathering and Taiwan’s very first elevator department store – HAYASHI.

The gift box uses bronze and brown as background color, complemented by wooden pointers to create the classic elevator look. The pointers point at different phases of the moon, signifying the connection of old histories and memories. Two parts of the box can also be put together to reveal the image of a full moon, reminding us the importance of family reunion as our time flies.

What’s Unique?
Through the unique structure and design of this product, we hope to present the theme of Moon Festival and introduce the long history of HAYASHI. Being Taiwan’s first department store to have elevator, it is definitely an essential milestone to the development of our history. We also want to convey the idea that with the fast elapse of time, we should embrace every opportunity to gather with our family, especially in the occasion of full moon.
