The Italian agency, Iep!Design, has developed the packaging design of a line of biscuits for a new Italian brand, Verisani. The packaging design, first of all, should communicate to consumers the tranquility and genuineness of a healthy product made with the utmost simplicity.

Iep!Design has developed a design concept that on one side, thanks to the background colour (Pantone 621C), create a “sweet” visual impact, not aggressive for those who choose to have breakfast with the package near to the cup; on the other hand, it appears iconic and stand out on the shelves thanks to the round label that identifie each biscuit of the line. The packaging is made of PPE in a single print version.

The six taste variants are distinct, in addition to the window that let see the shape and colour of the biscuit, from a paper label affixed to the front, thus offering an optimization of the plastic production waste.

The label is made in RitRama Premium White paper, Pantone offset printing + CMYK and Kurz – Luxor 232 gold hot foil print. Each label has a different background colour and on the top is expressed in gold the important distinctive message “handmade product”. On the back of packaging a simple layout focuses the consumers’ attention on main information: the company values and philosophy, quality, the “5 NO”, proof of craftsmanship, cell for ingredients and nutritional table (customized during packaging by hot stamping).

It was decided to use a direct language, face-to-face with the customer, using well readable fonts divided into subdivision cells.

In addition to the packaging, Iep! Design studio has designed the biscuits shape, the mechanical production components, the product naming and branding.
