This is a student project for an Icelandic brand named ” Vodfjall at 65N “.

Tint Teapot Charcoal is one of the products of ‘LAVAS.1’ series. Most of the items in this series are made from the volcanic rock from Iceland. This package is inspired by the scenery of Iceland. First I chose to use black and white as the colour base for the outer cover of the box. White as the background and the logo is placed in the centre and the series name of the product is written below the front. On a white and clean background, these words can be shown obviously.

The box is surrounded by UV varnish lines. In fact, the source of inspiration for the lines is the moss field in Iceland. The colour inside the box is mainly black and orange. It is based on the features of volcanoes lava. The concept inside is to showcase the teapot is made by volcanic rocks and it is surrounded by the magma.

What’s Unique?
To make sure the quality of the box, I use waterproof paper, combine with ribbon to protect the box and the teapot. Also stays are placed to make sure the teapot will stay in the middle. A booklet is also there with steps on how to maintain the teapot.

Each unties, pull and push, lifting is all for the increased interaction with the customer. It is not a direct opening but is a way leading to it. When they lift up the cover they first see the booklet or the latitude of company origin on the cover. This stop moment is the time for them to explore and think.
