This project was created as a concept for Healthy Ragi Dosa Batters. Ragi (finger millet) is an excellent source of natural calcium which helps in strengthening bones for growing children and ageing people.

This product was conceptualised to be a ready-to-use substitute for all the unhealthy food products available in the market. The visual element was chosen as a line drawing of finger millet, keeping in mind the future scalability of this product. It can be further developed into line of products with other grains (eg: wheat, rice etc) using a similar graphic treatment with different grain visuals. The look and feel is supposed to be very organic and niche, but a range of colour pop gradients was added to give it a fun look, and keep away from the consumer thinking it to be an expensive product.

The bag is priced relatively low as compared to the other competitors in the market. It’s a step taken forward for the benefit of those looking for a tasty and a healthy meal, without really burning a hole in their pockets.

What’s Unique?
The packaging of this product is simple and easy to carry. It’s got an easy-to-tear opening on the top, with a zip lock, which can be resealed after every use. The pack also has an aluminium cover on the inside, to keep the contents fresh for longer periods of time.
