Since being founded in 1960 by the family’s grandfather, Geli is now in the hands of the third generation and is still dedicated to the promotion of kumquat products and the creation of local specialty products in Minxiong.

The design adopts a dark orange color combined with craft paper material to express the brand’s spirit of humbleness and honesty. The logo blends European ambience with a novel Taiwanese font to elicit nostalgia and unexpected quirks from the consumer. The illustration depicts the plump, round appearance of a kumquat in a realistic manner. Numerous related elements are employed to increase the richness of the illustrations.

Geli Fresh Kumquat Products is shortlisted as a finalist for the Golden Pin Design Award 2019 Best Design, which will be announced at the award ceremony in Taipei on December 5.
