Steiger Naturals asked me to develop a packaging design for three new products. The main assortment of SN is sold online and the founder of the company decided to enter the stationary retail market. It is planned that SN products will be sold in DM pharmacies in Germany.

Three new products are Vegan Omega 3, Guarana and Mate+Gingseng.

Vegan Omega 3
Good for heart, eye, brain, during pregnancy, baby
Made from algae NOT fish
Highest level of DHA/EPA of vegan omega 3 in one capsule worldwide

Guarana – Energy
Guarana has long been known as an energizer. It has a stimulating effect and ensures short-term high performance. In most cases, the effect of energizers starts within 20 minutes and lasts for two to three hours. The advantage of guarana over the coffee bean is the duration of the caffeine effect because the high tannin content of guarana delays the release of caffeine and prolongs its effect.

Mate + Gingseng – Anti Stress
Mate, like Guarana, comes from South America and contains caffeine as well as other phytochemicals such as theobromine, an alkaloid similar to caffeine, and theophylline, which raises blood pressure and promotes blood circulation. Herbal adaptogens are natural substances that help to adapt to stressors by normalizing body function under stress and increasing stress resistance at the same time. Among other things, the EMA (European Medicines Agency) has recognized real ginseng (Panax ginseng) as an adaptogen.

The main task in the design was not to focus on the ingredients of the product but to focus on informing about the benefits such as anti-stress, energy, health, etc.

Solution
In order to highlight the product on a shelf in a store or pharmacy, I decided to apply the concept of developing emotional triggers. I used bright colors and gradients for this. Each colour scheme is associated with the product’s properties and attracts the customer’s attention. Bright colours are bright opportunities to improve the health of the customer.

The new design of the packaging brought fresh air to the positioning of the company and gave the products new energy and determination. Created a friendly dialogue between the company and the client, inspiration and trust.

What’s Unique?
The unique design of this package makes a harmonious combination of minimalistic style and bright colors. It was possible to keep the image of the company recognizable and to bring communicability and emotionality to the brand.
